6th World Congress: Visa Requirements In Denmark And Sweden

Links for information on Visa requirements and application procedures for Denmark and Sweden can be found on the 6th World Congress page:

http://www.healtheconomics.org/congress/2007/

Not all countries require application for visa, however, you should review the respective websites to ensure you have all information necessary.

6th World Congress: Currency In Denmark And Sweden

While Denmark is a member of the EU, the Danish currency is the the Danish krone not the euro (it opted out like the UK did). So for greatest convenience, any currency exchange you do should be into krone (plural: kroner). You may be able to get a more favourable exchange rate in your home country, but you can exchange major currencies at the airport. The krone is pegged closely to the euro.

At this moment, $1 USD equals approximately 5.731 DKK (Danish kroner). £1 GBP equals approx 11.195 DKK. 1 EUR equals approx. 7.45285 DKK.

Sweden is also a member of the EU but it has not yet joined the eurozone and so hasn’t converted to the euro. The Swedish krona (plural kronor) has the following exchange rates: $1 USD equals approx 7.045 SEK (Swedish Kronor), £1 GBP equals approx 13.751 SEK, 1 EUR equals approx 9.148 SEK.
